BSPA NIGHT 2019

For the fourth time in a row, MAX – BSPA Night, an award giving ceremony for the sports journalists held at city’s Fars Hotel on Saturday. The program was arranged by Bangladesh Sports Press Association (BSPA) and MAX Group, a reputed engineering company of Bangladesh was the title sponsor of this grand program. State Minister, Ministry of Youth and Sports Mr. Md. Zahid Ahsan Russel has graced the occasion as Chief Guest and MAX Group Chairman Engr. Ghulam Mohammed Alomgir was the Special Guest of Honor. The function was attended by many eminent journalists from different print and electronic media. In the program, award has been distributed to sport journalists in different categories. Daily Prothom alo, Head of Sport’s Tarek Mahmud won the Sport’s Journalist of the Year award. In a question answer session, MAX Chairman said, “Coping up with the growing popularity of Cricket, we have scope to create such platform for Football too. With the help of Honorable Prime Minister and very active Sports Ministry it is achievable and Max has always been and will be happy to contribute to such arrangements.” The program ended with a mesmerizing cultural program performed by renowned singer Syed Abdul Hadi.
