Azadul Haq, an Electrical Engineer from Houston, Texas, is currently the CEO of Max Group (Power). He looks after the entire Power portfolio of Max group.

Before joining Max Group in Bangladesh,Haq worked for 19 years at the 3rd largest energy company in the USA, Kinder Morgan that has an enterprise value of over 130 billion dollars. He led a team of professionals who develop and maintain software that runsproduct pipelines such as gasoline, crude oil, kerosene, and jet fuel carrying approx. 2.1 million barrels per day through a maze of 9000 miles of pipelines.

Before joining Kinder Morgan, Haq worked at NASA (Johnson Space Center, Houston) as the NT Administrator under Lockheed Martinanddeveloped widgets for the International Space Station. He became the President of Computer Expo after his graduation and traveled to Bangladesh in 1992 temporarily to build the IT infrastructure of the first private university of Bangladesh - North South University (NSU). Haq is involved in a multitude of other activities. He was the Convener of the Convention Of NRB Engineers or CONE that was held in February2019 at the Hotel Sonargaon and inaugurated by the Honorable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. Haq is the Chairman of Bridge 2 Bangladesh, the US-Bangladesh joint venture Green Micro Ltd., President of The Azad Foundation, Inc., one of the sponsor shareholders of NRBC Bank in Bangladesh, and past Chairman of FOBANA (Federation Of Bangladeshi Associations in North America), the largest national organization for the Bangladeshi organizations in North America. He had introduced non-linear editing, large scale digital printing, signs using vinyl cutting in Bangladesh and pioneered 3-D animation.

He published his first book in 2018 and is in the process of finalizing the second one.His hobbies include photography, cinematography, travel, and reading books. He is married and have two sons.
