Bangabandhu 31st National Swimming, Diving, and Water Polo Competition - 2022

The Bangabandhu 31st National Swimming, Diving, and Water Polo Competition - 2022 was held at the Syed Nazrul Islam National Swimming Complex in the city's Mirpur.
Being presided by BSF's Senior Vice-President and MAX Group's Chairman Engineer Ghulam Mohammed Alomgir, the competition was inaugurated by Abdullah Al Islam Jakob, MP, Chairman of the Standing Committee on the Ministry of Youth and Sports on 29 March 2022. The event was sponsored by reputed engineering conglomerates of the country, MAX GROUP, and organized by Bangladesh Swimming Federation (BSF).
The 4-day long competition ended on 01 April 2022 with a grand closing and prize distribution ceremony. Bangladesh Swimming Federation president and Bangladesh Navy Chief Admiral M Shaheen Iqbal, NBP, NUP, ndc, afwc, psc graced the closing ceremony as the Chief Guest. Among others, Youth and Sports Secretary Mesbah Uddin, ED & CEO of the Industries Division of MAX Group Kazi Yaminur Rashid Turjo, and CEO of the Power Division of MAX Group Azadul Haq were also present. While talking to the media during the prize-giving ceremony, the chief guest, Admiral M Shaheen Iqbal, and the tournament president, Engr. Ghulam M. Alomgir enounced that the hand-timing system will be replaced by the electronic board within the shortest possible time.
